ADHD planner apps vs a hashtag list
A hashtag list for ADHD planner apps is a vocabulary tool. It is not a roster. I still scroll as the person who would download this on a fresh account.
People tag #ADHDplanner when they want brands to find them. That is a real behavior. It is also why the list looks public. Another shop emailed a version of it last Tuesday.
The person: US English, 24-36, already bounced off Notion dashboards and paper Passion Planners, watches ‘ADHD tax’ and laundry-on-the-floor videos while they should be packing a bag. They watch ADHD tax, body doubling, ‘I bought another planner’, laundry-on-the-floor. Example: someone holding four unused planners and a phone full of abandoned Notion pages. Repeated ‘ADHD tax’ faces who also show the unused planner stack.
How I actually use a tag, then ignore it
Hashtag search is cheap and fast. You will learn the words. You will also meet the 200k ‘just use a bullet journal’ coach who does not have ADHD, because that is who buys the tag.
Then I switch to the feed. Fresh account. Real phones. Linger, save, like, comment as if I were them. Once the algorithm is trained I take whoever keeps showing up. Ideally over 50k average views. Below that, $700 a post for 1k views is a money sink.
If you scroll as a productivity bro you will get hustle content; you have to linger on the tax and the floor-laundry or the phone will not learn. Scout is $1,500/month because some founders will still want the list without becoming a hashtag intern.
When a hashtag is enough
If you are learning that late fees, lost keys, not generic studytok grind is next to ADHD tax, body doubling, ‘I bought another planner’, laundry-on-the-floor, a tag is enough. If you are about to spend talent money, it is not.
Marketplaces file this under productivity and send you the same 6am routine coaches.
