Scroll as them
Fresh account. Real phones. TikTok and Instagram. Whenever I see a relevant video with tons of likes I check the profile. Ideally over 50k average views. Below that they quote $700 a post for 1k views. That’s a money sink.

Email, then call
If they have an email in the bio I email them. I still prefer that to DMs. Then they’ll want to talk deal over email. DO NOT TALK ABOUT DEAL OVER EMAIL. Ask for the number again. If they won’t give it, move on. You’ll have other creators.

Minimum View Guarantee
There are so many deal structures, but the one that works for most everybody is the Minimum View Guarantee. For example, “We’ll pay you $2000 for 4 posts with a minimum view guarantee of 1 million views.” Balance the numbers so you hit your CPM. This, done well, can land around $1–$7 CPM. Send the contract while it’s still fresh.
A note about volume
The market is not efficient.

You pick one expensive creator.
Some creators are getting hundreds of views and some shop is paying them thousands of dollars. You need a lot of other names so you can move on. The client cannot wait while you argue with one quote.

The list came from a hashtag or last month.
People tag what they want brands to find. A giant list of every creator tells you who exists. The customer lives in a feed you never opened. We scroll as them and take whoever keeps showing up.

Questions
A few things shops ask.
Can I skip the call and just email the rate?

Can I just use a marketplace?
You can. You’ll get people who signed up to get deals. I want whoever the algorithm is already pushing to your customer.
Do you guarantee views?
No. Anyone who does is lying or running paid. I do the scrolling, and on Outreach and Dealmaker I do the contacting. You still approve every creator and every rate. Talent stays with the client.
What if we already have a list?
If it came from a hashtag or last month’s list, treat it as a maybe. We would still scroll as the customer once and see who actually shows up. Scout is $1,500/month.
