What baby gear brands creators charge

Creator-powered user acquisition

I do not have a rate card for baby gear brands and I will not invent one. What I have is a filter and a deal shape.

The filter: roughly 50k average views. Below that they quote $700 a post for 1k views. That’s a money sink. Family vlogs quote brand-haul rates and will put a baby on camera. Move on.

The deal shape: pay $X for N posts with a Minimum View Guarantee of Y. An example that is easy to hold: $2000 / 4 posts / 1M views. Balance those so you hit your CPM. Creator compensation is extra on every JumpTrend plan. Scout is $1,500. Outreach is $2,500. Dealmaker is $5,000. Those numbers are for matching, contacting, and paper. Talent is a separate invoice you approve.

Why email is where the money-sink happens

I prefer email. The contact is usually in a clearly-adult parent-creator bio. Don’t start the deal over email. Ask for the phone number. If they won’t, move on. Talking deal over email is how you get the first number. On a call I can explain a floor of views. Over email you just get “$700 a post.”

Registry-regret already has the parent audience; you brief the parent, never the child, and you do not target under 13.

What not to pay for

A cute baby-with-product video you cannot run. Do not ask a child to perform or hold the product as talent. Parent only. Skip the family vlog that puts a baby on camera for a brand deal.

The tag is family vlogs you cannot use if a child is the talent.

What I actually measure

Unique codes, parent download or purchase, never a child CTA. Codes on a live gear SKU, sold to parents. No download guarantee. No demo.

If they think the offer is too low, keep the same CPM and just up the numbers. Increasing your CPM should almost never be an option if it makes the product unprofitable. Move on. If you do this right, ie at scale, you will have many other creators to choose from.
