How to find board game collection apps TikTok creators
I scroll Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube under a fresh account if I’m looking for board game collection apps creators. I try to put myself in the shoes of the person who would download this: US English, 24-42, already bounced off BoardGameGeek they find hostile on a phone and a spreadsheet of plays, watches BGG on a phone is a fight and Friday-night-picker videos at a shelf. Then I linger, save, like, and comment as if I were them. Once the algorithm is trained I take whoever keeps showing up.
I do not open boardgames tag and call the spreadsheet research.
They watch BGG-on-phone, Friday-night-picker, we argued rules for 40 minutes, shelf-shame. They already tried BGG on a phone they hate, a spreadsheet of plays, and photos of boxes they cannot search. Adjacent is Friday shelves, hostile BGG, not unboxing hauls. Skip the 400k board-game-influencer whose grid is a weekly unboxing haul.
Ideally over 50k average. Below that they quote $700 a post for 1k views. That’s a money sink.
What keeps showing up in this feed
The same Friday-shelf face two weeks. The example I want in my head: someone picking a game for Friday and opening BGG to a page they cannot read.
BGG-on-phone rants already have the audience; a shelf picker they can use on Friday is the product.
Doing this by hand is kind of soul-crushing. Like an unboxing haul and you will leave the Friday-picker people. That is why I automated the scrolling. Scout is $1,500/month for the list.
The long method essay is How we find creators by scrolling a real TikTok avatar. I wrote the first-person version at How I find influencers.
Reject list, written down
Write the reject before you scroll: the 400k board-game-influencer whose grid is a weekly unboxing haul. Also skip anyone whose last dozen posts are collab ads and who has never talked about BGG-on-phone, Friday-night-picker, we argued rules for 40 minutes, shelf-shame.
If they only exist under boardgames tag, they wanted brands to find them. That is not who is being served to the person who would download this tonight.
50k floor
I want roughly 50k average views because the economics will not work otherwise. Board-game influencers quote unboxing-haul rates. $700 a post for 1k views is a money sink.
If you do this right, ie at scale, you will have many other creators to choose from. One no is not the campaign.
