How to write a car phone mount creator brief
A car phone mount creator brief is not a media-plan age band. It is a session: a person, a problem, a pattern of watch-time. I write it before I open a fresh account.
The sentence I actually scroll as: US English, 24-40, already bounced off a vent clip that cooked a phone and a dash sticky that fell in summer, watches ‘this mount cooked my phone’ and GPS-falling-into-the-seat videos in a parking lot.
Problem in their mouth: The GPS was on the dash and then it was in the footwell at a light.
Already tried: a vent clip that cooked a phone, a dash sticky that fell in summer, and a friend holding the GPS.
Watch: cooked-phone, summer-sticky-fail, GPS-in-the-seat, vent-clip-rage.
Reject: the 600k car-accessory reviewer who tests 15 mounts for a roundup.
Adjacent: parking-lot GPS, cooked phone, not car-mod flex.

What to put on the page you send a creator
That later page is not the avatar brief. The avatar brief is for the phone. The creator page is: one mechanic, one CTA, one forbid list.
Mechanic: a live MagSafe vent mount, or a dash mount that names the cars it fits. A live mount that names fit, in stock.
CTA: Mount it, run maps, take a corner, drop the code.
Forbid: Do not ask for a 15-mount test. Ask them to drive with maps up. No medical claims. No fake “not sponsored” energy when you paid them.
The mount in a real car on a real drive. If they never open the product, the video will be a read-through of your website.
What to ignore
Follower counts, “micro vs macro,” competitor creator lists, and anything that starts with #phonemount. Those belong in the outreach spreadsheet, after you have names from a feed.
Also ignore “make it go viral.” An avatar brief cannot promise that. It can only promise match.
Example video to have in your head while you write: someone fishing a phone out of the passenger footwell at a light.
Footwell rants already have the audience; a live mount that names the car it fits is the demo.
Scout is $1,500/month for the list that comes out of this brief. You approve every creator and every rate. No demo. No download guarantee.
