How to write a claw clip creator brief

Creator-powered user acquisition

A claw clip creator brief is not a media-plan age band. It is a session: a person, a problem, a pattern of watch-time. I write it before I open a fresh account.

The sentence I actually scroll as: US English, 18-30, already bounced off a claw that snaps and a cheap pack that slips by lunch, watches ‘this clip snapped in my bag’ and gym-to-shift hair videos in a car visor.

Problem in their mouth: It was cute in the pack and it was two pieces in my bag.

Already tried: a clip that snapped in a bag, a cheap pack that slips, and a scrunchie they went back to.

Watch: snapped-clip, slips-by-lunch, gym-to-shift, ‘the cute one does not hold thick hair’.

Reject: the 1M hair-tool GRWM who will bury a $12 clip.

Adjacent: gym-to-shift, thick-hair fail, not salon tutorials.

What to put on the page you send a creator

That later page is not the avatar brief. The avatar brief is for the phone. The creator page is: one mechanic, one CTA, one forbid list.

Mechanic: a live clip in two sizes, or a pack that is in stock on Shop. A live clip size in stock.

CTA: Put it in thick hair, go to a shift, show it still there, drop the code.

Forbid: Do not ask for a 10-clip haul. Ask them to wear it gym-to-shift. No medical claims. No fake “not sponsored” energy when you paid them.

The clip in thick hair on a real commute. If they never open the product, the video will be a read-through of your website.

What to ignore

Follower counts, “micro vs macro,” competitor creator lists, and anything that starts with #clawclip. Those belong in the outreach spreadsheet, after you have names from a feed.

Also ignore “make it go viral.” An avatar brief cannot promise that. It can only promise match.

Example video to have in your head while you write: someone holding two halves of a clip over a car visor.

Snapped-clip rants already have the audience; a live size that holds thick hair to a shift is the demo.

Scout is $1,500/month for the list that comes out of this brief. You approve every creator and every rate. No demo. No download guarantee.
