How to find climbing log apps TikTok creators

Creator-powered user acquisition

I scroll Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube under a fresh account if I’m looking for climbing log apps creators. I try to put myself in the shoes of the person who would download this: US English, 23-35, already bounced off a Google Sheet of sends and a paper guidebook with eraser holes, watches ‘I projected this for six months’ and gym-beta videos between sets. Then I linger, save, like, and comment as if I were them. Once the algorithm is trained I take whoever keeps showing up.

I do not open #climbing and call the spreadsheet research.

They watch project send videos, gym beta, ‘my finger pulley popped’, outdoor vs gym arguments. They already tried a Google Sheet of sends, Mountain Project notes they never reopen, and a paper guidebook with eraser holes. Adjacent is finger-injury caution, gym etiquette, not generic fitness transformation. Skip the 90k outdoor-lifestyle creator who only posts sunrise ridgelines and never a gym.

Ideally over 50k average. Below that they quote $700 a post for 1k views. That’s a money sink.

What keeps showing up in this feed

The same projecting face in the same gym lighting three sessions in a row. The example I want in my head: someone filming a failed redpoint then flipping to a notes app that lost the beta.

Send videos already have the audience; the log is the thing they reach for in the parking lot when the pump dies.

Doing this by hand is kind of soul-crushing. Like three ridgeline videos and you will never see a gym again on that phone. That is why I automated the scrolling. Scout is $1,500/month for the list.

The long method essay is How we find creators by scrolling a real TikTok avatar. I wrote the first-person version at How I find influencers.

Reject list, written down

Write the reject before you scroll: the 90k outdoor-lifestyle creator who only posts sunrise ridgelines and never a gym. Also skip anyone whose last dozen posts are collab ads and who has never talked about project send videos, gym beta, ‘my finger pulley popped’, outdoor vs gym arguments.

If they only exist under #climbing, they wanted brands to find them. That is not who is being served to the person who would download this tonight.

50k floor

I want roughly 50k average views because the economics will not work otherwise. Brand-trip climbers quote outdoor-apparel rates for a utility post. $700 a post for 1k views is a money sink.

If you do this right, ie at scale, you will have many other creators to choose from. One no is not the campaign.

Where JumpTrend sits

Scout $1,500 / Outreach $2,500 / Dealmaker $5,000 per month. Creator fees extra. No demo. No download guarantee. You approve every creator and every rate.
