How to write a cozy farm game creator brief

Creator-powered user acquisition

A cozy farm game creator brief is not a media-plan age band. It is a session: a person, a problem, a pattern of watch-time. I write it before I open a fresh account.

The sentence I actually scroll as: US English, 22-38, already bounced off a Stardew-like that was energy-gated and a farm that was ads every harvest, watches ‘this cozy game is not cozy’ and after-work-farm videos on a couch.

Problem in their mouth: I sat down at 9pm for cozy and the harvest was an ad.

Already tried: an energy-gated farm, a harvest that was ads, and Stardew on a machine they cannot play at 9pm on the couch.

Watch: not-cozy, energy-gate-on-harvest, after-work-farm, ‘I wanted Stardew and I got ads’.

Reject: the 500k cozy-game recapper whose videos are Steam decks only.

Adjacent: 9pm couch, fake-cozy ads, not Steam-deck flex.

What to put on the page you send a creator

That later page is not the avatar brief. The avatar brief is for the phone. The creator page is: one mechanic, one CTA, one forbid list.

Mechanic: a live farm with a first day that is not an energy gate, or a cozy loop that is not a 400MB surprise. A live listing whose first screenshot is a farm day, not a trailer.

CTA: Install, farm a first day at 9pm, show harvest is not an ad, drop the code.

Forbid: Do not ask them to quote a CPI. Ask them to farm a first day without an ad on harvest. No medical claims. No fake “not sponsored” energy when you paid them.

A first day they can play at 9pm. If they never open the product, the video will be a read-through of your website.

What to ignore

Follower counts, “micro vs macro,” competitor creator lists, and anything that starts with #cozygame. Those belong in the outreach spreadsheet, after you have names from a feed.

Also ignore “make it go viral.” An avatar brief cannot promise that. It can only promise match.

Example video to have in your head while you write: someone harvesting and getting a 30-second ad in a ‘cozy’ farm.

Fake-cozy rants already have the audience; a first day they can farm after work is the demo.

Scout is $1,500/month for the list that comes out of this brief. You approve every creator and every rate. No demo. No download guarantee.
