How to find cycling computer apps TikTok creators

Creator-powered user acquisition

I scroll Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube under a fresh account if I’m looking for cycling computer apps creators. I try to put myself in the shoes of the person who would download this: US English, 28-44, already bounced off a Wahoo they stopped pairing and Strava segments that made group rides mean, watches ‘I will not buy another head unit’ and punctured-tire-in-the-rain videos in the garage. Then I linger, save, like, and comment as if I were them. Once the algorithm is trained I take whoever keeps showing up.

I do not open #cycling and call the spreadsheet research.

They watch head-unit hate, garage mechanicals, ‘Strava segments ruined the group ride’, rain-commute rants. They already tried a Wahoo that sits in a drawer, Strava on the phone they could not see in sun, and a paper cue sheet they dropped. Adjacent is commute rain, garage mechanicals, not Zwift race culture. Skip the WorldTour-kit replica rider whose whole grid is watts and who will not talk to a commuter.

Ideally over 50k average. Below that they quote $700 a post for 1k views. That’s a money sink.

What keeps showing up in this feed

The same garage-mechanical face two rain days in a row. The example I want in my head: someone mounting a phone, squinting at Strava, and missing a turn.

Garage mechanicals and commute rants already have the audience; a readable phone computer is the thing they want on the next wet morning.

Doing this by hand is kind of soul-crushing. Like a Zwift race and the phone will leave wet-commute content. That is why I automated the scrolling. Scout is $1,500/month for the list.

The long method essay is How we find creators by scrolling a real TikTok avatar. I wrote the first-person version at How I find influencers.

Reject list, written down

Write the reject before you scroll: the WorldTour-kit replica rider whose whole grid is watts and who will not talk to a commuter. Also skip anyone whose last dozen posts are collab ads and who has never talked about head-unit hate, garage mechanicals, ‘Strava segments ruined the group ride’, rain-commute rants.

If they only exist under #cycling, they wanted brands to find them. That is not who is being served to the person who would download this tonight.

50k floor

I want roughly 50k average views because the economics will not work otherwise. Kit riders quote apparel rates for a handlebar shot. $700 a post for 1k views is a money sink.

If you do this right, ie at scale, you will have many other creators to choose from. One no is not the campaign.

Where JumpTrend sits

Scout $1,500 / Outreach $2,500 / Dealmaker $5,000 per month. Creator fees extra. No demo. No download guarantee. You approve every creator and every rate.
