How to find fantasy sports apps TikTok creators

Creator-powered user acquisition

I scroll Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube under a fresh account if I’m looking for fantasy sports apps creators. I try to put myself in the shoes of the person who would download this: US English, 23-38, already bounced off ESPN’s clunky waiver flow and a Discord league that still uses screenshots, watches ‘my commissioner is asleep on waivers’ and draft-board-panic videos on a Tuesday night. Then I linger, save, like, and comment as if I were them. Once the algorithm is trained I take whoever keeps showing up.

I do not open #fantasyfootball and call the spreadsheet research.

They watch commissioner rants, waiver-wire panic, ‘ESPN still looks like 2014’, draft-board chaos. They already tried ESPN fantasy they complain about every Tuesday, Sleeper they like but their league will not move, and a spreadsheet commissioner tool that broke. Adjacent is commissioner pain, Tuesday waivers, not sportsbook locks. Skip the DFS sharp selling picks whose content is indistinguishable from gambling ads.

Ideally over 50k average. Below that they quote $700 a post for 1k views. That’s a money sink.

What keeps showing up in this feed

The same Tuesday-night commish face two weeks in a row. The example I want in my head: someone missing a waiver because ESPN hid the button under three menus.

Commissioner rants already have the audience; a waiver flow a sleepy commish can run is the product.

Doing this by hand is kind of soul-crushing. One like on a locks account and the phone will leave commissioner content. That is why I automated the scrolling. Scout is $1,500/month for the list.

The long method essay is How we find creators by scrolling a real TikTok avatar. I wrote the first-person version at How I find influencers.

Reject list, written down

Write the reject before you scroll: the DFS sharp selling picks whose content is indistinguishable from gambling ads. Also skip anyone whose last dozen posts are collab ads and who has never talked about commissioner rants, waiver-wire panic, ‘ESPN still looks like 2014’, draft-board chaos.

If they only exist under #fantasyfootball, they wanted brands to find them. That is not who is being served to the person who would download this tonight.

50k floor

I want roughly 50k average views because the economics will not work otherwise. DFS accounts quote sportsbook rates. Move on. $700 a post for 1k views is a money sink.

If you do this right, ie at scale, you will have many other creators to choose from. One no is not the campaign.

Where JumpTrend sits

Scout $1,500 / Outreach $2,500 / Dealmaker $5,000 per month. Creator fees extra. No demo. No download guarantee. You approve every creator and every rate.
