How to find freelance time trackers TikTok creators

Creator-powered user acquisition

I scroll Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube under a fresh account if I’m looking for freelance time trackers creators. I try to put myself in the shoes of the person who would pay for this tool: US English freelancer, 25-39, already bounced off Toggl reports they cannot send and a Notes app of hours, watches ‘I reconstructed my week from Slack’ and ‘Toggl reports look like a spreadsheet threw up’ videos on Sunday invoicing night. Then I linger, save, like, and comment as if I were them. Once the algorithm is trained I take whoever keeps showing up.

I do not open #freelancer and call the spreadsheet research.

They watch Slack-reconstruction, Toggl-report hate, ‘I forgot to start the timer’, Sunday invoicing. They already tried Toggl they cannot report from, a Notes list of hours, and a spreadsheet they fill in from memory on Sunday. Adjacent is Sunday invoices, forgotten timers, not enterprise billable-hour OS. Skip the productivity YouTuber selling a $199 time-blocking cohort.

Ideally over 50k average. Below that they quote $700 a post for 1k views. That’s a money sink.

What keeps showing up in this feed

The same Sunday-invoicing face two weeks in a row. The example I want in my head: someone scrolling Slack to guess Tuesday’s hours.

Slack-reconstruction rants already have the audience; a week view a client will accept is the product.

Doing this by hand is kind of soul-crushing. Like a CEO-of-one time-block video and you will leave Sunday invoicing. That is why I automated the scrolling. Scout is $1,500/month for the list.

The long method essay is How we find creators by scrolling a real TikTok avatar. I wrote the first-person version at How I find influencers.

Reject list, written down

Write the reject before you scroll: the productivity YouTuber selling a $199 time-blocking cohort. Also skip anyone whose last dozen posts are collab ads and who has never talked about Slack-reconstruction, Toggl-report hate, ‘I forgot to start the timer’, Sunday invoicing.

If they only exist under #freelancer, they wanted brands to find them. That is not who is being served to the person who would pay for this tool tonight.

50k floor

I want roughly 50k average views because the economics will not work otherwise. Productivity coaches quote cohort prices. $700 a post for 1k views is a money sink.

If you do this right, ie at scale, you will have many other creators to choose from. One no is not the campaign.

Where JumpTrend sits
