What gold vermeil jewelry creators charge
I do not have a rate card for gold vermeil jewelry and I will not invent one. What I have is a filter and a deal shape.
The filter: roughly 50k average views. Below that they quote $700 a post for 1k views. That’s a money sink. Try-on accounts quote jewelry-haul rates.
The deal shape: pay $X for N posts with a Minimum View Guarantee of Y. An example that is easy to hold: $2000 / 4 posts / 1M views. Balance those so you hit your CPM. Creator compensation is extra on every JumpTrend plan. Scout is $1,500. Outreach is $2,500. Dealmaker is $5,000. Those numbers are for matching, contacting, and paper. Talent is a separate invoice you approve.
Why email is where the money-sink happens
I prefer email. The contact is usually in a small stack-account bio with few other shops this month. Don’t start the deal over email. Ask for the phone number. If they won’t, move on. Talking deal over email is how you get the first number. On a call I can explain a floor of views. Over email you just get “$700 a post.”
Green-plating rants already have the audience; a live vermeil piece with a real SKU is the demo.
What not to pay for
A 20-piece arm with your SKU lost. Do not ask for a 20-piece stack. Ask them to shower-test the one live SKU. Skip the 2M jewelry try-on who is paid by five shops this week.
The catalog is try-on talent with 20 SKUs on one arm.
What I actually measure
Unique codes, not a 20-piece stack. Shop or site codes on a live piece. No download guarantee. No demo.
If they think the offer is too low, keep the same CPM and just up the numbers. Increasing your CPM should almost never be an option if it makes the product unprofitable. Move on. If you do this right, ie at scale, you will have many other creators to choose from.
