How to find home scent brands TikTok creators
I scroll Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube under a fresh account if I’m looking for home scent brands creators. I try to put myself in the shoes of your client’s customer: the client’s customer is US English, 24-38, already bounced off a grocery vanilla they are bored of and a candle that sooted the wall, watches ‘this candle sooted my wall’ and Sunday-reset-scent videos while they clean. Then I linger, save, like, and comment as if I were them. Once the algorithm is trained I take whoever keeps showing up.
I do not open #candles and call the spreadsheet research.
They watch soot-on-wall, Sunday-reset, ‘grocery vanilla is sad’, throw-vs-looks. They already tried a grocery vanilla, a pretty candle that sooted, and a diffuser they never refilled. Adjacent is Sunday reset, soot rage, not mansion tours. Skip the 1M lifestyle creator whose house is a set.
Ideally over 50k average. Below that they quote $700 a post for 1k views. That’s a money sink.
What keeps showing up in this feed
The same Sunday-reset face two weeks. The example I want in my head: someone pointing at a black crescent on the wall above a pretty jar.
Soot rants and Sunday-reset already have the audience; a live scent they will actually burn is the demo.
Doing this by hand is kind of soul-crushing. Like a mansion tour and you will leave the Sunday-reset apartment. That is why I automated the scrolling. Scout is $1,500/month for the list.
The long method essay is How we find creators by scrolling a real TikTok avatar. I wrote the first-person version at How I find influencers.
Reject list, written down
Write the reject before you scroll: the 1M lifestyle creator whose house is a set. Also skip anyone whose last dozen posts are collab ads and who has never talked about soot-on-wall, Sunday-reset, ‘grocery vanilla is sad’, throw-vs-looks.
If they only exist under #candles, they wanted brands to find them. That is not who is being served to your client’s customer tonight.
50k floor
I want roughly 50k average views because the economics will not work otherwise. Lifestyle sets quote home-brand rates the client’s unit cannot pay. $700 a post for 1k views is a money sink.
If you do this right, ie at scale, you will have many other creators to choose from. One no is not the campaign.
Where JumpTrend sits
Scout $1,500 / Outreach $2,500 / Dealmaker $5,000 per month. Creator fees extra. No demo. No download guarantee. You approve every creator and every rate.
