How to write an idle tycoon game creator brief

Creator-powered user acquisition

An idle tycoon game creator brief is not a media-plan age band. It is a session: a person, a problem, a pattern of watch-time. I write it before I open a fresh account.

The sentence I actually scroll as: US English, 16-28, already bounced off an idle that paywalled the loop and a tycoon that was ads every 20 seconds, watches ‘this idle is just ads’ and late-night-one-more-tap videos in bed.

Problem in their mouth: I wanted one more building and I got an ad, and then the loop was behind a paywall.

Already tried: an idle that paywalled the loop, a tycoon that was ads, and a web idle they outgrew.

Watch: ads-every-20-seconds, paywalled-loop, late-night-one-more-tap, ‘I lost the factory to a crash’.

Reject: the 1M mobile-gaming recapper whose last 20 videos are paid launches.

Adjacent: bed taps, ad-rage, not PC-strategy lectures.

What to put on the page you send a creator

That later page is not the avatar brief. The avatar brief is for the phone. The creator page is: one mechanic, one CTA, one forbid list.

Mechanic: a live App Store tycoon with a first-session loop, or a factory idle that is not a 400MB download surprise. A live App Store listing whose first screenshot is the loop, not a cinematic trailer.

CTA: Install, play the first loop, show an ad is not the loop. Drop the code.

Forbid: Do not ask them to quote a CPI or a ROAS. Ask them to play the first session. No medical claims. No fake “not sponsored” energy when you paid them.

A working first session they can finish in bed. If they never open the product, the video will be a read-through of your website.

What to ignore

Follower counts, “micro vs macro,” competitor creator lists, and anything that starts with #idlegame. Those belong in the outreach spreadsheet, after you have names from a feed.

Also ignore “make it go viral.” An avatar brief cannot promise that. It can only promise match.

Example video to have in your head while you write: someone tapping a factory and getting a 30-second ad before the next building.

Ad-rage already has the audience; a live first-session loop they can play in bed is the demo. No fake CPI.

Scout is $1,500/month for the list that comes out of this brief. You approve every creator and every rate. No demo. No download guarantee.
