What interior paint brands creators charge
I do not have a rate card for interior paint brands and I will not invent one. What I have is a filter and a deal shape.
The filter: roughly 50k average views. Below that they quote $700 a post for 1k views. That’s a money sink. Makeover creators quote renovation-campaign rates.
The deal shape: pay $X for N posts with a Minimum View Guarantee of Y. An example that is easy to hold: $2000 / 4 posts / 1M views. Balance those so you hit your CPM. Creator compensation is extra on every JumpTrend plan. Scout is $1,500. Outreach is $2,500. Dealmaker is $5,000. Those numbers are for matching, contacting, and paper. Talent is a separate invoice you approve.
Why email is where the money-sink happens
I prefer email. The contact is usually in a small DIY-room bio. Don’t start the deal over email. Ask for the phone number. If they won’t, move on. Talking deal over email is how you get the first number. On a call I can explain a floor of views. Over email you just get “$700 a post.”
Sad-gray rants already have the audience; a sample that ships this week is the demo.
What not to pay for
A mansion reveal with no sample step. Do not ask for a full-house reveal. Ask them to put the sample on the wall at 6pm. Skip the 1M interior-design creator whose house is a full gut.
The tag is mansion-makeover talent.
What I actually measure
Unique codes, not a reveal with 8 other brands. Codes on a live gallon or a real sample checkout. No download guarantee. No demo.
If they think the offer is too low, keep the same CPM and just up the numbers. Increasing your CPM should almost never be an option if it makes the product unprofitable. Move on. If you do this right, ie at scale, you will have many other creators to choose from.
