Measuring language learning apps creator installs

Creator-powered user acquisition

I do not measure a language learning app influencer campaign by vanity views. A 2M-view owl-hate video with no install.

What I actually want in the spreadsheet: unique App Store codes, not ‘me too’ comments under a Duolingo rant. The conversion I am willing to talk about is App Store installs with a unique custom code. I will not invent a CPI, a ROAS, or a customer who does not exist.

Promo codes are a floor

Give each creator their own code. Unique custom codes in App Store Connect or Play Console if this is an app, unique links or Shop codes if this is a SKU, unique signup links if this is SaaS. You will want this when you later try to decide repeat, Spark, or stop.

Codes are a floor, not payroll. Plenty of people will tap through and never type the string. Do not run a Product Hunt day on the same morning if you wanted isolation.

Views are a sourcing filter

I still want roughly 50k average views on the creator I am about to email. That is economics going in, not measurement coming out. Below that they quote $700 a post for 1k views. That’s a money sink.

A Minimum View Guarantee is a deal floor. Example: $2000 / 4 posts / 1M views. It is not UA. App Store installs with a unique custom code.

What I will not put on a slide

No fake CPI. No invented ROAS. No “the campaign did 4.2x.” If you need paid social numbers, that is Ads Manager, a different invoice.

A live listing whose first screenshot is a spoken prompt, not a cartoon league.

Skip the polyglot with a wall of flags who is selling a $199 method. even if their views look pretty. The anti-Duolingo rant is already a genre; an app that drills the sentence they actually need can ride that rant without becoming another owl.

No download guarantee. No demo. Talent extra. Scout $1,500 / Outreach $2,500 / Dealmaker $5,000.
