How to write a linen bedding brand creator brief
A linen bedding brand creator brief is not a media-plan age band. It is a session: a person, a problem, a pattern of watch-time. I write it before I open a fresh account.
The sentence I actually scroll as: the client’s customer is US English, 26-40, already bounced off crispy hotel-style sheets they hate in August and a ‘linen’ set that was polyester, watches ‘these are not linen’ and August-sweat videos in a rumpled bed.
Problem in their mouth: The listing said linen and August still felt like a hotel I wanted to leave.
Already tried: crispy hotel-style sheets, a fake-linen set, and a cheap Amazon set that pilled.
Watch: fake-linen, August-sweat, crispy-hotel-sheets, rumpled-bed Sunday.
Reject: the 900k bedroom-aesthetic creator whose bed is never slept in.
Adjacent: August sweat, fake-linen rage, not hotel-room ads.

What to put on the page you send a creator
That later page is not the avatar brief. The avatar brief is for the phone. The creator page is: one mechanic, one CTA, one forbid list.
Mechanic: a live linen sheet set in the current color, or a duvet the client has in queen. The client’s live sheet set in stock in the size they film.
CTA: Sleep in it, show the rumple, drop the code for the in-stock size.
Forbid: Do not ask for a hotel-room makeover. Ask them to sleep in the set and film the rumple. No medical claims. No fake “not sponsored” energy when you paid them.
Slept-in sheets, not a styled unslept bed. If they never open the product, the video will be a read-through of your website.
What to ignore
Follower counts, “micro vs macro,” competitor creator lists, and anything that starts with #bedding. Those belong in the outreach spreadsheet, after you have names from a feed.
Also ignore “make it go viral.” An avatar brief cannot promise that. It can only promise match.
Example video to have in your head while you write: someone rubbing a ‘linen’ sheet that is clearly polyester.
Fake-linen rants already have the audience; a live set in queen is the demo.
Scout is $1,500/month for the list that comes out of this brief. You approve every creator and every rate. No demo. No download guarantee.
