First mushroom coffee campaign checklist

Creator-powered user acquisition

A first mushroom coffee campaign at founder scale. Numbered so you can stop lying to yourself about which step you skipped.

  1. Confirm a live blend in stock, no disease claims on the PDP actually closes. Creators cannot fix packaging.
  2. Write the avatar in a sentence: US English, 24-38, already bounced off a grocery bag and a mushroom mix that tasted like dirt, watches ‘this mushroom coffee tastes like dirt’ and 2pm-crash videos at a desk, no medical claims.
  3. Write the problem in their mouth: I wanted coffee and I got dirt, and I still crashed at 2.
  4. Write what they already quit: a dirt-taste mix, grocery coffee they miss, and a tin under the sink.
  5. Write what they watch: dirt-taste, 2pm-crash, ‘I miss coffee’, tin-under-the-sink.
  6. Write the reject: the biohacker whose mushroom coffee is one of 20 supplements.
  7. Write adjacent so the phone does not smear: dirt taste, 2pm desk, not nootropic stacks.
  8. Put that sentence into the brief
  9. Scroll as them on a fresh Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube account. Example to look for: someone sipping, making a face, and pouring it out. Signal: the same dirt-taste face two mornings.
  10. Keep a 50k average-view floor. Below that, $700 a post for 1k views is a money sink.
  11. Skip #mushroomcoffee as a roster method.
  12. Email. The contact is usually in a small desk-coffee bio, not a stack storefront. Name a real video. Ask for the phone number.
  13. If they won’t give a number, move on. Biohackers quote supplement-haul rates.
  14. On the call, Minimum View Guarantee. Example: $2000 / 4 posts / 1M views. Talent extra.
  15. Send the contract while the yes is still warm. Scout $1,500 / Outreach $2,500 / Dealmaker $5,000.
  16. The tin at a real desk, a real mug.
  17. Tell them what to film: brew it, say if it tastes like coffee, drop the code. No outcomes. Do not ask them to claim focus, immunity, or a cure. Ask them to drink it and say if it tastes like coffee.
  18. Give each creator their own code. Unique codes, not a focus claim.
  19. Do not run a launch day on the same morning if you wanted isolation.
  20. Two follow-ups, then stop. If you do this right, ie at scale, you will have many other creators to choose from.

Doing the scroll by hand is kind of soul-crushing. Like a 20-supplement stack and you will leave the dirt-taste people. No demo. No download guarantee. You approve every creator and every rate.

Dirt-taste rants already have the audience; a live blend they will finish is the demo. No focus or immune claims.
