What phone cases creators charge

Creator-powered user acquisition

I do not have a rate card for phone cases and I will not invent one. What I have is a filter and a deal shape.

The filter: roughly 50k average views. Below that they quote $700 a post for 1k views. That’s a money sink. Case-haul accounts quote fashion rates.

The deal shape: pay $X for N posts with a Minimum View Guarantee of Y. An example that is easy to hold: $2000 / 4 posts / 1M views. Balance those so you hit your CPM. Creator compensation is extra on every JumpTrend plan. Scout is $1,500. Outreach is $2,500. Dealmaker is $5,000. Those numbers are for matching, contacting, and paper. Talent is a separate invoice you approve.

Why email is where the money-sink happens

I prefer email. The contact is usually in a small everyday-phone bio. Don’t start the deal over email. Ask for the phone number. If they won’t, move on. Talking deal over email is how you get the first number. On a call I can explain a floor of views. Over email you just get “$700 a post.”

Yellowing rants already have the audience; a live MagSafe case for the current model is the demo.

What not to pay for

A 20-color dump that never drops. Do not ask for 20 colors. Ask them to put it on the current phone and drop it from pocket height. Skip the 1M case-haul who films 20 colors and never drops one.

The tag is 20-color hauls.

What I actually measure

Unique codes, not a 20-color dump. Shop or site codes on a live model/color. No download guarantee. No demo.

If they think the offer is too low, keep the same CPM and just up the numbers. Increasing your CPM should almost never be an option if it makes the product unprofitable. Move on. If you do this right, ie at scale, you will have many other creators to choose from.
