What phone tripods creators charge
I do not have a rate card for phone tripods and I will not invent one. What I have is a filter and a deal shape.
The filter: roughly 50k average views. Below that they quote $700 a post for 1k views. That’s a money sink. Gear-reviewers quote roundup rates.
The deal shape: pay $X for N posts with a Minimum View Guarantee of Y. An example that is easy to hold: $2000 / 4 posts / 1M views. Balance those so you hit your CPM. Creator compensation is extra on every JumpTrend plan. Scout is $1,500. Outreach is $2,500. Dealmaker is $5,000. Those numbers are for matching, contacting, and paper. Talent is a separate invoice you approve.
Why email is where the money-sink happens
I prefer email. The contact is usually in a small creator-gear bio with few affiliate links. Don’t start the deal over email. Ask for the phone number. If they won’t, move on. Talking deal over email is how you get the first number. On a call I can explain a floor of views. Over email you just get “$700 a post.”
Wobbly-take rants already have the audience; a live clamp that fits a cased iPhone is the demo.
What not to pay for
A desk unboxing that never films a take. Do not ask for a 12-product roundup. Ask them to film a take that stays in frame. Skip the 800k gear-reviewer who tests 12 tripods for a roundup fee.
The tag is gear roundup channels.
What I actually measure
Unique codes, not a 12-tripod roundup. Shop or site codes on a live SKU. No download guarantee. No demo.
If they think the offer is too low, keep the same CPM and just up the numbers. Increasing your CPM should almost never be an option if it makes the product unprofitable. Move on. If you do this right, ie at scale, you will have many other creators to choose from.
