How to write a pickleball app creator brief
A pickleball app creator brief is not a media-plan age band. It is a session: a person, a problem, a pattern of watch-time. I write it before I open a fresh account.
The sentence I actually scroll as: US English, 28-52, already bounced off a Facebook group that is 80 percent open-play drama and a DUPR they cannot log a rec game in, watches the group is drama and parking-lot-court-hunt videos after work.
Problem in their mouth: The group said court 3 and court 3 was a lesson, and I am in the parking lot in shoes.
Already tried: a Facebook group that is drama, DUPR they cannot log a rec game in, and a group text that is always wrong about the court.
Watch: group-is-drama, parking-lot-court-hunt, DUPR-maze, after-work-open-play.
Reject: the 400k pickleball-influencer whose grid is a paddle brand trip.
Adjacent: parking-lot hunts, group drama, not paddle-flex.

What to put on the page you send a creator
That later page is not the avatar brief. The avatar brief is for the phone. The creator page is: one mechanic, one CTA, one forbid list.
Mechanic: a court-finder that is not a Facebook group, or a rating log that is not a DUPR maze. A live listing whose first screenshot is a court and a time, not a social feed.
CTA: Find a court after work, show it is not a lesson, drop the code.
Forbid: Do not ask for a paddle unboxing. Ask them to find a court after work. No medical claims. No fake “not sponsored” energy when you paid them.
Find a court they can play after work. If they never open the product, the video will be a read-through of your website.
What to ignore
Follower counts, “micro vs macro,” competitor creator lists, and anything that starts with pickleball tag. Those belong in the outreach spreadsheet, after you have names from a feed.
Also ignore “make it go viral.” An avatar brief cannot promise that. It can only promise match.
Example video to have in your head while you write: someone in a parking lot because the group said court 3 and court 3 was a lesson.
Group-is-drama rants already have the audience; a court they can trust after work is the product.
Scout is $1,500/month for the list that comes out of this brief. You approve every creator and every rate. No demo. No download guarantee.
