What proposal tools creators charge
I do not have a rate card for proposal tools and I will not invent one. What I have is a filter and a deal shape.
The filter: roughly 50k average views. Below that they quote $700 a post for 1k views. That’s a money sink. Agency coaches quote template-pack prices.
The deal shape: pay $X for N posts with a Minimum View Guarantee of Y. An example that is easy to hold: $2000 / 4 posts / 1M views. Balance those so you hit your CPM. Creator compensation is extra on every JumpTrend plan. Scout is $1,500. Outreach is $2,500. Dealmaker is $5,000. Those numbers are for matching, contacting, and paper. Talent is a separate invoice you approve.
Why email is where the money-sink happens
I prefer email. The contact is usually in a freelance studio bio. Don’t start the deal over email. Ask for the phone number. If they won’t, move on. Talking deal over email is how you get the first number. On a call I can explain a floor of views. Over email you just get “$700 a post.”
Broken-export rants already have the audience; a one-page e-sign they can send from a phone is the product.
What not to pay for
A cinematic handshake with no proposal UI. Do not ask them to flash a $40k deal as your ROAS. Ask them to send a one-pager and show it signed. Skip the agency-YouTuber selling a $2k proposal template pack.
The tag is agency coaches selling template packs.
What I actually measure
Unique signup links, not a signed-deal flex with the number blacked out. Signups to a live proposal product, unique link. No download guarantee. No demo.
If they think the offer is too low, keep the same CPM and just up the numbers. Increasing your CPM should almost never be an option if it makes the product unprofitable. Move on. If you do this right, ie at scale, you will have many other creators to choose from.
