First refillable cleaning brands campaign checklist

Creator-powered user acquisition

A first refillable cleaning brands campaign at founder scale. Numbered so you can stop lying to yourself about which step you skipped.

  1. Confirm the client’s live refill in stock, not just the pretty bottle actually closes. Creators cannot fix packaging.
  2. Write the avatar in a sentence: the client’s customer is US English, 25-40, already bounced off a cute cleaner that ran out of refills and a grocery gallon they are tired of, watches ‘the cute bottle has no refill’ and under-sink-plastic videos on a Sunday clean.
  3. Write the problem in their mouth: I bought the pretty bottle and now I am back on the gallon because they do not sell the pouch.
  4. Write what they already quit: a cute bottle whose brand ghosted refills, grocery gallons, and tablets that did not dissolve.
  5. Write what they watch: no-refill-rage, under-sink-plastic, ‘cute bottle abandoned me’, Sunday-clean restocks.
  6. Write the reject: the 700k clean-with-me whose whole video is product placement.
  7. Write adjacent so the phone does not smear: under-sink plastic, refill ghosting, not ASMR clean-with-me hauls.
  8. Put that sentence into the brief
  9. Scroll as them on a fresh Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube account. Example to look for: someone holding a pretty bottle and a grocery gallon because the refill never restocked. Signal: the same Sunday-clean face two weeks.
  10. Keep a 50k average-view floor. Below that, $700 a post for 1k views is a money sink.
  11. Skip #cleantok as a roster method.
  12. Email. The contact is usually in a small apartment-clean bio, not a 20-brand Linktree. Name a real video. Ask for the phone number.
  13. If they won’t give a number, move on. Clean-with-me accounts quote household-haul rates.
  14. On the call, Minimum View Guarantee. Example: $2000 / 4 posts / 1M views. Talent extra.
  15. Send the contract while the yes is still warm. Scout $1,500 / Outreach $2,500 / Dealmaker $5,000.
  16. The pouch and the bottle on the Sunday clean.
  17. Tell them what to film: refill the bottle from the live pouch, drop the code. Show the under-sink after. Do not ask for a 20-product clean-with-me. Ask them to refill the bottle from the live pouch.
  18. Give each creator their own code. Unique codes, not an ASMR mop clip.
  19. Do not run a launch day on the same morning if you wanted isolation.
  20. Two follow-ups, then stop. If you do this right, ie at scale, you will have many other creators to choose from.

Doing the scroll by hand is kind of soul-crushing. Like a 20-SKU clean-with-me and you will bury the client’s pouch. No demo. No download guarantee. You approve every creator and every rate.

No-refill rants already have the audience; a live pouch is the only proof that matters.
