How to find rhythm games TikTok creators

Creator-powered user acquisition

I scroll Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube under a fresh account if I’m looking for rhythm games creators. I try to put myself in the shoes of the person who would actually play the first session: US English, 16-28, already bounced off a rhythm game that hid songs behind IAP and a chart that needed four fingers they do not have on a commute, watches ‘the song is $4’ and bus-chart videos with one earbud in. Then I linger, save, like, and comment as if I were them. Once the algorithm is trained I take whoever keeps showing up.

I do not open #rhythmgame and call the spreadsheet research.

They watch song-is-IAP, bus-charts, four-finger-gate, ‘I just wanted one song’. They already tried a rhythm game that hid songs behind IAP, a chart that needed four fingers, and a web rhythm they outgrew. Adjacent is bus charts, IAP songs, not arcade flex. Skip the 400k rhythm YouTuber who only posts arcade cabinets.

Ideally over 50k average. Below that they quote $700 a post for 1k views. That’s a money sink.

What keeps showing up in this feed

The same $4-song face two bus rides. The example I want in my head: someone unlocking a song screen that is a $4 wall.

IAP-song rants already have the audience; a first song they can play with thumbs on a bus is the demo.

Doing this by hand is kind of soul-crushing. Like an arcade cabinet and you will leave the bus-thumb people. That is why I automated the scrolling. Scout is $1,500/month for the list.

The long method essay is How we find creators by scrolling a real TikTok avatar. I wrote the first-person version at How I find influencers.

Reject list, written down

Write the reject before you scroll: the 400k rhythm YouTuber who only posts arcade cabinets. Also skip anyone whose last dozen posts are collab ads and who has never talked about song-is-IAP, bus-charts, four-finger-gate, ‘I just wanted one song’.

If they only exist under #rhythmgame, they wanted brands to find them. That is not who is being served to the person who would actually play the first session tonight.

50k floor

I want roughly 50k average views because the economics will not work otherwise. Arcade YouTubers quote launch rates. $700 a post for 1k views is a money sink.

If you do this right, ie at scale, you will have many other creators to choose from. One no is not the campaign.

Where JumpTrend sits

Scout $1,500 / Outreach $2,500 / Dealmaker $5,000 per month. Creator fees extra. No demo. No download guarantee. You approve every creator and every rate.
