First screenshot-to-ticket AI tools campaign checklist

Creator-powered user acquisition

A first screenshot-to-ticket AI tools campaign at founder scale. Numbered so you can stop lying to yourself about which step you skipped.

  1. Confirm a working drop that creates an issue in a real tracker tonight actually closes. Creators cannot fix packaging.
  2. Write the avatar in a sentence: US English solo founder who still does support, 26-38, already bounced off a Slack channel of screenshots and a Linear they fill in by hand, watches ‘my bug report is a Slack screenshot’ and ‘I spent the morning rewriting tickets’ videos after a support pile.
  3. Write the problem in their mouth: The bug is a photo of a phone in Slack and I am the transcription layer.
  4. Write what they already quit: a Slack channel called bugs, Linear they fill in by hand, and a Form users will not complete.
  5. Write what they watch: Slack-screenshot bugs, rewriting-tickets, ‘the user sent a photo of a phone’, Linear-by-hand.
  6. Write the reject: the AI-agents influencer whose demo is a fake chatbot.
  7. Write adjacent so the phone does not smear: Slack piles, phone photos of bugs, not enterprise ITSM.
  8. Put that sentence into the brief
  9. Scroll as them on a fresh Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube account. Example to look for: someone transcribing a user’s phone photo into Linear for the third time this morning. Signal: the same rewriting-tickets face two support mornings.
  10. Keep a 50k average-view floor. Below that, $700 a post for 1k views is a money sink.
  11. Skip #AIagents as a roster method.
  12. Email. The contact is usually in a tiny product footer or a personal gmail in Linear’s team name. Name a real video. Ask for the phone number.
  13. If they won’t give a number, move on. AI-agents accounts quote SaaS-affiliate rates.
  14. On the call, Minimum View Guarantee. Example: $2000 / 4 posts / 1M views. Talent extra.
  15. Send the contract while the yes is still warm. Scout $1,500 / Outreach $2,500 / Dealmaker $5,000.
  16. Drop a screenshot, get a ticket, no agent platform tour.
  17. Tell them what to film: drop the screenshot, open the issue, send it to yourself. Stop. Do not ask them to say you replaced their support team. Ask them to drop one screenshot and show the issue.
  18. Give each creator their own code. Unique signup links, not an agents roundup.
  19. Do not run a launch day on the same morning if you wanted isolation.
  20. Two follow-ups, then stop. If you do this right, ie at scale, you will have many other creators to choose from.

Doing the scroll by hand is kind of soul-crushing. Like an agents-keynote clip and you will leave the Slack-screenshot founder. No demo. No download guarantee. You approve every creator and every rate.

Rewriting-ticket rants already have the audience; a screenshot that becomes an issue is the demo.
