How to write a slow fashion label creator brief

Creator-powered user acquisition

A slow fashion label creator brief is not a media-plan age band. It is a session: a person, a problem, a pattern of watch-time. I write it before I open a fresh account.

The sentence I actually scroll as: the client’s customer is US English, 25-36, already bounced off Shein hauls they feel sick about and a ‘sustainable’ drop that looked like every other drop, watches ‘I am done with hauls’ and mending videos on Sunday.

Problem in their mouth: I have a closet of one-wear pieces and I still do not have a jacket for Tuesday.

Already tried: Shein they feel sick about, a sustainable drop that looked like the rest, and a thrift that did not fit.

Watch: haul-shame, mending, ‘this sustainable drop is still a drop’, closet-repeats.

Reject: the 800k haul creator who will wear the jacket once for a try-on.

Adjacent: mending, closet repeats, not haul culture.

What to put on the page you send a creator

That later page is not the avatar brief. The avatar brief is for the phone. The creator page is: one mechanic, one CTA, one forbid list.

Mechanic: a live small-batch jacket in two sizes, or a restock of a cut they already sold through. The client’s live product with real sizes in stock.

CTA: Wear it Tuesday, show the code, show the size that is actually in stock.

Forbid: Do not ask for a 10-outfit haul. Ask them to wear the jacket on a real Tuesday. No medical claims. No fake “not sponsored” energy when you paid them.

The jacket in hand, not a lookbook PDF. If they never open the product, the video will be a read-through of your website.

What to ignore

Follower counts, “micro vs macro,” competitor creator lists, and anything that starts with #slowfashion. Those belong in the outreach spreadsheet, after you have names from a feed.

Also ignore “make it go viral.” An avatar brief cannot promise that. It can only promise match.

Example video to have in your head while you write: someone filming a pile of unworn haul clothes and then a jacket they actually wear.

Haul-shame already has the client’s audience; a small-batch cut needs the person who films repeats, not try-ons.

Scout is $1,500/month for the list that comes out of this brief. You approve every creator and every rate. No demo. No download guarantee.
