How to find sourdough kit subscriptions TikTok creators

Creator-powered user acquisition

I scroll Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube under a fresh account if I’m looking for sourdough kit subscriptions creators. I try to put myself in the shoes of your client’s customer: the client’s customer is US English, 26-42, already bounced off a dead starter in the fridge and a YouTube bake that wasted a Saturday, watches ‘I killed my starter’ and Saturday-bake-fail videos at the kitchen scale. Then I linger, save, like, and comment as if I were them. Once the algorithm is trained I take whoever keeps showing up.

I do not open #sourdough and call the spreadsheet research.

They watch killed-starter, Saturday-bake-fail, ‘the YouTube bake took 11 hours’, fridge-jar shame. They already tried a starter they killed, a YouTube bake that ate Saturday, and a grocery loaf they felt guilty buying. Adjacent is killed starters, Saturday fails, not homestead flex. Skip the homestead creator who already has a 20-year starter and will mock a kit.

Ideally over 50k average. Below that they quote $700 a post for 1k views. That’s a money sink.

What keeps showing up in this feed

The same killed-starter face two Saturdays. The example I want in my head: someone pouring a gray starter down the sink.

Killed-starter rants already have the audience; a kit that gets them one loaf this week is the demo.

Doing this by hand is kind of soul-crushing. Like a 20-year-starter homestead and you will leave the killed-jar people. That is why I automated the scrolling. Scout is $1,500/month for the list.

The long method essay is How we find creators by scrolling a real TikTok avatar. I wrote the first-person version at How I find influencers.

Reject list, written down

Write the reject before you scroll: the homestead creator who already has a 20-year starter and will mock a kit. Also skip anyone whose last dozen posts are collab ads and who has never talked about killed-starter, Saturday-bake-fail, ‘the YouTube bake took 11 hours’, fridge-jar shame.

If they only exist under #sourdough, they wanted brands to find them. That is not who is being served to your client’s customer tonight.

50k floor

I want roughly 50k average views because the economics will not work otherwise. Homestead bakers quote cookbook rates. $700 a post for 1k views is a money sink.

If you do this right, ie at scale, you will have many other creators to choose from. One no is not the campaign.

Where JumpTrend sits

Scout $1,500 / Outreach $2,500 / Dealmaker $5,000 per month. Creator fees extra. No demo. No download guarantee. You approve every creator and every rate.
