Street soccer games vs a hashtag list

Creator-powered user acquisition

A hashtag list for street soccer games is a vocabulary tool. It is not a roster. I still scroll as the person who would actually play the first session on a fresh account.

People tag #soccergame when they want brands to find them. That is a real behavior. It is also why the list looks public. Another shop emailed a version of it last Tuesday.

The person: US English, 16-26, already bounced off a FIFA-clone that paywalled players and a soccer game that was ads between kickoffs, watches ‘this is just ads between kickoffs’ and after-school-3v3 videos on a bus. They watch ads-between-kickoffs, paywalled-players, after-school-3v3, ‘I just wanted a street pitch’. Example: someone waiting through an ad to take a corner. The same ad-corner face two bus rides.

How I actually use a tag, then ignore it

Hashtag search is cheap and fast. You will learn the words. You will also meet the FIFA Ultimate Team creator whose content is pack openings, because that is who buys the tag.

Then I switch to the feed. Fresh account. Real phones. Linger, save, like, comment as if I were them. Once the algorithm is trained I take whoever keeps showing up. Ideally over 50k average views. Below that, $700 a post for 1k views is a money sink.

Like a pack-opening and you will leave the bus-3v3 people. Scout is $1,500/month because some founders will still want the list without becoming a hashtag intern.

When a hashtag is enough

If you are learning that bus 3v3, ads-between-kickoffs, not Ultimate Team packs is next to ads-between-kickoffs, paywalled-players, after-school-3v3, ‘I just wanted a street pitch’, a tag is enough. If you are about to spend talent money, it is not.

The tag is FUT pack-opening talent you should not buy.
