How to find woodworking plan apps TikTok creators

Creator-powered user acquisition

I scroll Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube under a fresh account if I’m looking for woodworking plan apps creators. I try to put myself in the shoes of the person who would download this: US English, 28-50, already bounced off a PDF plan that assumed a full shop and a YouTube build that skipped a measurement, watches ‘this PDF assumes I have a tablesaw’ and garage-Saturday videos with a circular saw. Then I linger, save, like, and comment as if I were them. Once the algorithm is trained I take whoever keeps showing up.

I do not open #woodworking and call the spreadsheet research.

They watch PDF-assumes-tablesaw, garage-Saturday, skipped-measurement, ‘I just wanted a cut list’. They already tried a PDF that assumed a tablesaw, a YouTube build that skipped a measurement, and a paper plan they lost in sawdust. Adjacent is circular-saw Saturdays, missing cut lists, not Festool flex. Skip the 600k shop-influencer whose garage is a brand-trip Festool wall.

Ideally over 50k average. Below that they quote $700 a post for 1k views. That’s a money sink.

What keeps showing up in this feed

The same missing-cut-list face two Saturdays. The example I want in my head: someone pausing a YouTube build because the cut list was never on screen.

Missing-cut-list rants already have the audience; a Saturday plan for a circular saw is the product.

Doing this by hand is kind of soul-crushing. Like a Festool wall and you will leave the circular-saw Saturday. That is why I automated the scrolling. Scout is $1,500/month for the list.

The long method essay is How we find creators by scrolling a real TikTok avatar. I wrote the first-person version at How I find influencers.

Reject list, written down

Write the reject before you scroll: the 600k shop-influencer whose garage is a brand-trip Festool wall. Also skip anyone whose last dozen posts are collab ads and who has never talked about PDF-assumes-tablesaw, garage-Saturday, skipped-measurement, ‘I just wanted a cut list’.

If they only exist under #woodworking, they wanted brands to find them. That is not who is being served to the person who would download this tonight.

50k floor

I want roughly 50k average views because the economics will not work otherwise. Shop influencers quote tool-haul rates. $700 a post for 1k views is a money sink.

If you do this right, ie at scale, you will have many other creators to choose from. One no is not the campaign.

Where JumpTrend sits

Scout $1,500 / Outreach $2,500 / Dealmaker $5,000 per month. Creator fees extra. No demo. No download guarantee. You approve every creator and every rate.
