What word search games creators charge

Creator-powered user acquisition

I do not have a rate card for word search games and I will not invent one. What I have is a filter and a deal shape.

The filter: roughly 50k average views. Below that they quote $700 a post for 1k views. That’s a money sink. Trivia recappers quote app-launch rates.

The deal shape: pay $X for N posts with a Minimum View Guarantee of Y. An example that is easy to hold: $2000 / 4 posts / 1M views. Balance those so you hit your CPM. Creator compensation is extra on every JumpTrend plan. Scout is $1,500. Outreach is $2,500. Dealmaker is $5,000. Those numbers are for matching, contacting, and paper. Talent is a separate invoice you approve.

Why email is where the money-sink happens

I prefer email. The contact is usually in a small puzzle-game bio. Don’t start the deal over email. Ask for the phone number. If they won’t, move on. Talking deal over email is how you get the first number. On a call I can explain a floor of views. Over email you just get “$700 a post.”

Ad-between-word rants already have the audience; a first puzzle in a waiting room is the demo.

What not to pay for

A cartoon trailer with no puzzle. Do not ask for a kids’ learning angle. Ask them to finish a puzzle in a waiting room. Skip the trivia-app recapper who only posts kids’ learning games.

The tag is trivia recappers and kids’ learning.

What I actually measure

Unique App Store codes, not a hint-paywall meme. App Store installs with a unique custom code. No download guarantee. No demo.

If they think the offer is too low, keep the same CPM and just up the numbers. Increasing your CPM should almost never be an option if it makes the product unprofitable. Move on. If you do this right, ie at scale, you will have many other creators to choose from.
