First yoga apps campaign checklist

Creator-powered user acquisition

A first yoga apps campaign at founder scale. Numbered so you can stop lying to yourself about which step you skipped.

  1. Confirm a live listing whose first screenshot is a 12-minute floor class, not a 40-day challenge actually closes. Creators cannot fix packaging.
  2. Write the avatar in a sentence: US English, 28-42, already bounced off Down Dog subscriptions and a studio intro pack they used twice, watches ‘yoga apps that talk too much’ and tight-hip-from-sitting videos after they close the laptop.
  3. Write the problem in their mouth: I have 12 minutes after Slack and every class I saved is an hour.
  4. Write what they already quit: Down Dog until the price jumped, a studio intro pack, and YouTube yoga they half-watched while answering Slack.
  5. Write what they watch: home-practice fails, ‘I will not do a 60-minute class after work’, tight-hip-from-sitting, studio-price rants.
  6. Write the reject: the 300k flexibility creator selling a 30-day split challenge.
  7. Write adjacent so the phone does not smear: desk tightness, 12-minute floors, not ashram aesthetics.
  8. Put that sentence into the brief
  9. Scroll as them on a fresh Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube account. Example to look for: someone skipping a 45-minute class preview and sitting back down at the laptop. Signal: the same tight-hip-from-sitting face two weeknights in a row.
  10. Keep a 50k average-view floor. Below that, $700 a post for 1k views is a money sink.
  11. Skip #yogaapp as a roster method.
  12. Email. The contact is usually in a bio next to a 30-day challenge checkout; say this is one app class, not a challenge. Name a real video. Ask for the phone number.
  13. If they won’t give a number, move on. Challenge-sellers quote program prices for one class clip.
  14. On the call, Minimum View Guarantee. Example: $2000 / 4 posts / 1M views. Talent extra.
  15. Send the contract while the yes is still warm. Scout $1,500 / Outreach $2,500 / Dealmaker $5,000.
  16. A working class they can finish tonight on a towel.
  17. Tell them what to film: start the 12-minute class, finish it, close the laptop for real. Do not ask for a full vinyasa in good lighting. Ask them to finish 12 minutes on a towel.
  18. Give each creator their own code. Unique App Store codes, not a flexibility clip with your song in the background.
  19. Do not run a launch day on the same morning if you wanted isolation.
  20. Two follow-ups, then stop. If you do this right, ie at scale, you will have many other creators to choose from.

Doing the scroll by hand is kind of soul-crushing. Like a split-challenge video and the phone will leave the desk-hip people. No demo. No download guarantee. You approve every creator and every rate.

Desk-tightness rants already have the audience; a 12-minute floor class is the thing they can actually finish.
