Where to Launch an Influencer Campaign

Creator-Powered User Acquisition

A marketplace is the right tool if you want people to apply to a brief. A database is the right tool if you need emails and filters at scale. A UA agency is the right tool if you have spend that needs an adult in Ads Manager. Doing it yourself is the right tool if you will actually warm a dedicated session this month. JumpTrend is the right tool if you shipped a live app and need names this week from the people the customer already watches.

A Shopify catalog CRM is a different tool. If the listing cannot close, none of these venues fix screenshot-one. If you cannot write who it is for, you are not launching. You are collecting handles.

The product page is jumptrend.co/campaigns. This page is the map: what each venue actually returns, who it is for, and where I would not send a solo founder.

When a marketplace is the right tool

A creator marketplace is a catalog of people who signed up to get deals. Brands post a campaign or browse profiles. Creators apply or list rates. The platform often takes a seat fee or a cut.

Fine if you need a body in a niche and you have a coordinator who can brief 40 applicants. Not the same as who your customer is watching this week. Self-selection biases toward people hunting brand deals, which can be good, and can also mean giveaway-driven followings.

I want the people the algorithm is already pushing to your user. That is a different list. Fair writeup of the category: Creator marketplace vs JumpTrend to launch a campaign. Adjacent product: JumpTrend vs Influencer Hero.

When a database is the right tool

An influencer database indexes who exists: filters, emails, audience estimates, sometimes fraud scores. Modash-class tools are the clean example. Useful later, especially if you already trust a handle and need a contact or a geo prior.

A giant index still does not tell you who TikTok is pushing to your user right now. Hashtag-equivalent keywords describe self-report. Recurrence in a For You session is a different filter.

If you have a coordinator, a catalog, and a hundred creators to vet, a database is a rational tool. If you shipped an indie app and need eight names, a seat priced for unlocks is a gym membership you will visit twice. Honest split: JumpTrend vs Modash.

When a UA agency is the right tool

A retainer, a deck, a timeline. Makes sense if you have budget for a team, spend that needs an adult in Ads Manager, and someone other than you should be in the account every day.

Overkill if you shipped an app and need a first campaign this month. An agency that already knows how to buy ASA and Spark still needs to know who to put on camera. A feed-qualified list still needs someone to spend, or someone to decide not to.

They are not substitutes. See JumpTrend vs hiring a UA agency. I did not build an ads agency. I built the part I kept having to do first.

When doing it yourself is the right tool

This is how I used to do it. Fresh account. Linger, save, like, comment as the customer. Then check profiles. Ideally over 50k average views. Then email. Then a call.

It works. It is kind of soul-crushing, which is why I automated the scrolling. DIY is the same method if you actually warm a dedicated session and write down recurrence. JumpTrend is that method as a product so you do not contaminate your personal algorithm and do not quit after forty minutes.

Honest split: JumpTrend vs doing it yourself. DIY cash cost can be $0 plus talent. DIY full cost is evenings and a biased feed.

When JumpTrend is the right tool

You describe the customer. I scroll TikTok and Instagram as them on real phones. You get names you can actually buy, or I keep going through the emails and the contract.

Scout is $1,500/month for the list. Outreach is $2,500 if contacting and follow-up should not be your job. Dealmaker is $5,000 if the yes should not live in DMs. Talent extra. No demo. No download guarantee. You approve every creator and every rate.

That is the job I built it for: a live app, names this week, from the people the customer already watches. It will not be your system of record for 400 ambassadors. It will not connect a store catalog. It will not sit in your MMP.

The sequence after you pick the venue is How to launch an influencer campaign. The find method is How we find creators by scrolling a real TikTok avatar. The brief is influencer campaign brief.
